    The optional foundation ring plans provide step-by-step instructions to create and assemble a ring of wooden 4x4s.  The foundation ring creates a flat and level surface on which to build the dome and prevents direct contact between the frame and the soil. The foundation ring will add 3.5" of extra height to the dome.  The required materials are available at most home improvement stores and only basic carpentry tools are required to build it.

    The approximate frame weight is 77 lbs. 

    Each frame is made to order, please allow two to three weeks manufacturing time.
